1. CHOOSE YOUR ACCOUNT

PFA loads the trailing method, drawdown amount and lock rule when verified. You only enter the live account values the firm cannot know for you.

See the active moving drawdown floor, how the firm updates it, and how much account room remains before the limit is reached.

HOW TO USE IT

Three steps to a useful result

01Choose the exact account

PFA loads the stored drawdown amount, update method and lock rule when they are available.

02Copy the live account values

Enter only the current account value and the highest value that actually counts under this rule. PFA labels the correct balance/equity field for you.

03Check the active floor

See the current floor, remaining room, whether the floor is still trailing or locked, and the next floor when an EOD rule can be previewed.

WHY THE NUMBER MATTERS

Example: an intraday high can move one rule but not another

A real-time trailing rule can tighten immediately when a new qualifying intraday peak is reached. An EOD rule waits for the qualifying close, so an unrealised intraday spike must not move the active floor.

FAQ

Trailing Drawdown Calculator questions

What is the highest qualifying value?

It is the highest balance, equity or closed/EOD value that this exact rule uses to move the floor. PFA should label the correct metric for a selected account.

Why can the floor stop moving?

Some accounts lock the floor at the starting balance, starting balance plus a fixed buffer, a profit-target balance or another stated level. Other accounts trail indefinitely.

Does an intraday profit move an EOD trailing floor?

No, not until the rule’s qualifying end-of-day value is recorded. The floor can still be enforced intraday even though it only updates at the close.
